), a leading provider of specialized application software and services for online business collaboration, today announced the appointment of Charles Zaiontz to its executive management team as Managing Director, Europe, Middle East and Africa (EMEA). Centra also announced the opening of its new EMEA headquarters in Maidenhead, Berkshire, to support the Company's European expansion plans.

In his new role, Charles will manage Centra's EMEA sales, marketing, services and consulting operations as the Company continues its global expansion to meet market demand for its specialised software solutions and services that facilitate and automate online business collaboration.

With a proven track record spanning more than 30 years in the technology industry, Charles has held senior sales and management positions with companies in the software, networks equipment and Internet services industries.

Charles joins Centra from Genuity, where he was president of EMEA operations. As president, Charles grew the business from a start-up into a $50M pan-European operation, serving some of the region's largest enterprises and telecommunications companies. Based at the Company's EMEA headquarters in Maidenhead, Berkshire, Charles will report to Rick Cramer, Senior Vice President of Worldwide Sales of Centra.
