The firm, recognized as a wildlife conservation specialist, collaborated with the exhibit designers, curators and keepers at Wildlife Conservation Society on the 5,000 s/f indoor and outdoor secret garden.

The "Butterfly Garden" opened to the public on May 19.

For the past 13 years, Jeffrey Rosenberg Jeffrey Rosenberg is a guitarist/vocalist/drummer who has been in a number of bands in Los Angeles, CA, Brooklyn, NY, San Francisco, CA, and Providence, RI. These bands have ranged from soft anthemic folk (Lavender Diamond) to other less touchy-feely creatures: noisy, bombastic , a Vice-President of Cetra/Ruddy, has worked with WCS See Windows CardSpace.  serving most recently as project director for Cetra/Ruddy on the Bronx Zoo's award winning Tiger Mountain exhibit, which opened Spring 2003 to rave reviews.

Prior to joining Cetra/Ruddy, Rosenberg served as project director of the award-winning Congo Gorilla Forest exhibit.

"More than 1,000 butterflies of up to 55 species will inhabit this enchanting and stunning exhibit," said Rosenberg.

"We are honored to once again be playing a role in the creation of a new habitat that will allow guests to explore the intriguing world of butterflies, while learning about these creatures and their place in human culture and their importance in conservation."

WCS required an architectural team with wildlife expertise, experience with EGAD's interactive mode of design, and the ability to work on a fast-track mode. Cetra/Ruddy's capability of responding quickly, experience with construction issues as well as innovative building materials and technology was also a key factor.

Rosenberg observes, "The ongoing work with the professionals of EGAD that began on the Congo Gorilla Forest continues to be a most extraordinary experience for our firm. Our client's sophisticated understanding of their mission and project goals is unmatched."
