Centiv Announces New President & Chief Operating Officer.

Centiv, Inc. (NASDAQ:CNTV), announced today that John P. Larkin has joined Centiv as President and Chief Operating Officer. In this newly created position, Mr. Larkin will be responsible for working with leading consumer packaged goods companies to help them manage their localized point-of-purchase advertising with Centiv's web-based solution. "John has a proven track record of introducing paradigm-changing technologies that have helped this industry target its customers with high-impact promotions," said William Rychel, Centiv's CEO. Prior to joining Centiv, Mr. Larkin served from 1994 until June, 2001 as President and Chief Executive officer of Spectra Marketing Systems, Inc., a company he co-founded in 1988. In 1994, Spectra was acquired by VNU, a global leader in market research, that provides measurement and analysis of marketplace dynamics, consumer behavior and audience measurement. Spectra's services have become a standard in the Consumer Packaged Goods industry, and are used on a daily basis by the top 200 CPG manufacturers to track and analyze their marketing programs and strategies.

Before founding Spectra, Mr. Larkin was Vice President - Product Management at Information Resources, Inc. Mr. Larkin began his career with various positions at Procter & Gamble and The Minute Maid Company and also served as Director of Sales Planning and Operations at The Treesweet Company. He holds a BS/BA from the University of Kentucky.
