: BUD) and A-B's network of independent and company owned distributor-wholesalers. The sale includes printers, software and other capital equipment used for the creation of locally customized point-of-purchase (POP) materials. The sale supports Anheuser Busch's ongoing Custom POS (1) See point of sale and packet over SONET.

For this equipment upgrade, Anheuser Busch is sharing costs in a cooperative arrangement with its wholesalers. Centiv's role involved coordinating suppliers, testing equipment options, arranging the purchasing and shipping of equipment and ensuring that all the equipment is configured to work in concert to meet A-B's standards for color, speed, compatibility and reliability.

The final products selected provide a wholesaler with most of the equipment necessary to run a self-sufficient digital print shop supported by Centiv. Included are a custom Hewlett Packard wide format digital printer, Okidata small format color laser jet printer and other equipment and software. Centiv expects to have all of the systems shipped before the end of the calendar year.
