With Personal Number, calls made to a subscriber's telephone number can be simultaneously routed to the subscriber's mobile, office and home telephones, as well as to pagers, facsimile machines, and other programmed communications devices Typically refers to a terminal used to send voice, video or text. Callers have the option to hold for subscribers or be transferred to voice mail, while subscribers can choose to answer a call, or transfer it to voice mail or another number for assistance. These options greatly enhance productivity and create a virtual office for mobile workers.

MobileManager operates on Centigram's Series 6 communications server See network access server, modem server, terminal server and communications controller.
