Centex at Top: Centex Homes received the highest ranking for
customer satisfaction in the Los Angeles Los Angeles (lôs ăn`jələs, lŏs, ăn`jəlēz'), city (1990 pop. 3,485,398), seat of Los Angeles co., S Calif.; inc. 1850. and Ventura counties in the
recently released New-Home Builder Customer Satisfaction Study by J.D.
Power and Associates. Centex took the top rating based on 10 factors
including builder's warranty, home readiness, sales staff,
construction manager, quality of workmanship and other factors. The
company is currently building or selling new homes in Santa Clarita Santa Clarita, city (1990 pop. 110,642), Los Angeles co., S Calif., suburb 30 mi (48 km) NW of downtown Los Angeles, on the Santa Clara River; inc. 1987. the number of construction problems experienced by new home buyers is on
the rise, with buyers reporting an average of 14 problems with their new
home, a 7 percent increase over 2005. The study found that the most
frequently occurring construction problems in the L.A. and Ventura
county areas involve kitchen cabinet quality and finish, sink, tub and
shower stall stall, small division of a larger space, sometimes partly partitioned. The term is used for a booth for display and selling at an exhibition, for a compartment in a stable or kennel, or, in England, for the forward seats in a theater orchestra. plumbing and kitchen plumbing.
