Centex Rooney and LLT Building Corporation -Joint Venture- Awarded FSU's Basic Sciences Complex.

TALLAHASSEE, Fla.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Feb. 4, 2002

Florida State University recently selected Centex Rooney/LLT Building Corp., a joint venture, to build the new Basic Sciences Complex. John Cammack, Centex Rooney's Executive Vice President and head of the West Florida Division, stated, "We are extremely excited to have this opportunity to help FSU take medical studies into the future with the Basic Sciences Complex at the new College of Medicine."

Florida State's College of Medicine will sprawl over the 216,296 gross square feet of the Basic Sciences Complex located on the western edge of the Main Campus in Tallahassee. The Basic Sciences Complex will feature "Jacobean" architecture consistent with the rest of the campus. This style features red brick facades with pavilions, ornamental stone details, and pitched roofs punctuated by dormers and gables.

Although currently in the infant stages of design, the construction of the Basic Sciences Complex should take place from January 2003 through substantial completion in April 2004.

LLT Building Corp., with their experience working on the Florida State University Main Campus, will work with Centex Rooney to achieve all of FSU's project goals.
