Centex Rooney Construction Company Awarded Florida Atlantic University Central Utilities Plant.
FORT LAUDERDALE, Fla.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--June 9, 2000
Al Petrangeli, president of Centex Rooney Construction Company, Inc., is pleased to announce that Centex Rooney has been awarded the $2 million Florida Atlantic University Central Utilities Plant in Boca Raton.
When completed, this 2,000 square foot facility will consist of a central utilities plant including new chillers for the Biomedical Sciences Building and future expansion of the university. Construction is scheduled for August 2000. To date, Florida Atlantic University has awarded Centex Rooney Construction Company four projects totaling approximately $46 million.
Centex Rooney, Florida's largest general contractor and construction manager, is a subsidiary of Centex Construction Group, a division of Centex Corporation (NYSE:CTX).
