Centerpost Corp. of Chicago and HNC Software Inc., San Diego, Calif., agreed to an alliance that permits credit and debit card issuers to issue automatic fraud notification calls to customers. Notifications may be sent by voice, wireless, e-mail, fax or instant messaging. Centerpost wilt supply the alert technology, using HNC Software's Falcon Fraud Manager system, which monitors 84 percent of all U.S. transactions and more than 400 million accounts worldwide.
