Center for Health Value Innovation Names Influential Leaders in Value-Based Design to its Board of Strategic Advisors.ST. LOUIS -- The Center for Health Value Innovation (www.vbhealth.org), the nation's premier organization dedicated to establishing value and producing evidence for sustainable health and financial improvement, announces Andrew Webber, president and CEO of the National Business Coalition on Health (NBCH), and Clare Miller, director of the Partnership for Workplace Mental Health, will join the Center's Board of Strategic Advisors. "The Center is fortunate to attract such high-level thinkers to assist our drive for the personal, business, and community value of health investments," says Cyndy Nayer, CEO of the Center. "Both Webber and Miller have demonstrated remarkable dedication to improving health, transforming healthcare, and advancing effective value-based approaches to their communities." Webber is responsible for overseeing all association activities, including value-based purchasing programs, government and external relations, educational programs, member communications and technical assistance, and research and evaluation at NBCH, a national, not-for-profit membership organization of nearly 60 purchaser-based health coalitions. "I am honored to be part of the Center and its forward-thinking work on value-based design," says Webber. "This will be an excellent chance to further engage coalitions in the business, educational, and governmental issues facing our country today." As director of Partnership for Workplace Mental Health, a program of the American Psychiatric Foundation that advances effective employer approaches to mental health by combining the knowledge and experience of the American Psychiatric Association and its employer partners, Miller will share her breadth of understanding regarding innovative solutions to mental health issues. "I look forward to promoting the business case for quality mental health care," Miller says. "The Center and its mission are on track with the Partnership's work to improve access to care and effective mental health treatment." Both Webber and Miller join the distinguished panel of special strategic advisors, which includes Robert Campbell of the Robert Wood Johnson Foundation and Joycelyn Elders, M.D., former U.S. Surgeon General.
