Centennial Technologies Names Two Senior Executive Officers.


WILMINGTON, Mass.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Sept. 15, 1997--Centennial Technologies, Inc. (Ticker:CENL CENL Conference of European National Librarians

) today announced the appointments of Richard N. Stathes as Senior Vice President of Sales and Marketing and Dr. Jacques Assour as Senior Vice President of Operations, effective immediately. Centennial's recently named Chief Executive Officer, L. Michael Hone, acted quickly to fill the two key positions at the Company. Both Stathes and Assour worked with Hone at PSC (Public Service Commission) Same as PUC.  Inc., where Hone was responsible for that company's growth from $8 million in revenues in 1988 to an annual rate of over $200 million by the end of 1996.

"The skills of these two individuals are extremely well suited for the PC card business and for the opportunities and challenges at Centennial," said Hone. "Their addition to the team already in place will move Centennial closer to our goal of providing the best product, the best service and the best shareholder value in the industry."

Stathes, Centennial's new Senior Vice President of Sales and Marketing, has extensive electronics industry experience in senior sales and marketing management, and was the Vice President of Sales for PSC Inc. from 1992 to 1997. Stathes also served as an area marketing manager and a district sales manager during his ten years with Hewlett Packard in Syracuse, New York
