) today announced the appointment of Lisa M. Wilson as Vice President, Investor Relations Investor relations

. Ms. Wilson will direct Centene's investor relations activities and will serve as a senior member of the Company's mergers and acquisitions and corporate communications teams. She will report to Michael F. Neidorff, President and Chief Executive Officer.

Ms. Wilson brings to Centene over 10 years of experience in the development and execution of successful investor relations programs along with extensive knowledge of the equity capital markets. Since 1995, Ms. Wilson has served as president and founder of In-Site Communications, Inc., a healthcare investor relations firm. Prior to founding In-Site, she was a healthcare research associate at Kidder, Peabody & Co., where she conducted equity research of specialty pharmaceuticals, drug delivery and generic drug companies.

Mr. Neidorff stated, "We have worked with Lisa on a consultancy basis since our initial public offering in 2001, and we welcome her to the senior management team at this significant point in our Company's development. She will be an important contributor not only to our ongoing efforts to increase financial transparency and build our relationships with existing and future shareholders, but also to the execution of our business initiatives."
