It was formed out of the 1996 merger of Beth Israel Hospital (founded in 1916) and are recruiting study participants for genetic studies on aging.
Researchers are seeking people 100 and older, those who will celebrate
their 100th birthdays by the end of 2001, families with living relatives
aged 90 and older and with deceased deceased 1) adj. dead. 2) n. the person who has died, as used in the handling of his/her estate, probate of will and other proceedings after death, or in reference to the victim of a homicide (as: "The deceased had been shot three times. relatives who lived to age 90 and
older, and people aged 98 and older and their living brothers and
sisters who are at least 90 years old. Those who know of potential study
