Tina, a little koala, is crying in her room because they have been asked in school 'What Does Your Daddy Do?'. All the other children seemed to have Daddies with very important jobs such as doctor, actor, General in the Army or Head Surgeon, but Tina had to say her Daddy 'sweeps the street and empties the bins'. However Mummy in response to her asking sobbing 'Why doesn't my Daddy do something important?' says 'But he does' and proceeds to point out to Tina all the lovely and loving things he does for her. So, when Daddy comes home that night she can run to him and give him a great big hug 'for being the best Daddy in the whole world'.

The presentation of the koalas and the other animals is beautifully humanised and the illustrations are strong, colourful and sure to appeal. It shows so beautifully how important love is to us all.
