Cement prices jump.

CEMENT PRICES JUMP. The construction industry in Grenada will be hit by an almost 30% increase in the price of cement as soon as the next shipment arrives, reports Caribbean Net News (May 8, 2006). Trinidad Cement Ltd (TCL), the main supplier here, announced the price adjustment, saying it was due to the rising cost of inputs, in particular fuel costs and the cost of procuring Klinca, which accounts for 95% of the cement content.
