ORLANDO, Fla.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--March 18, 2002

Invensys Powerware, a global supplier of comprehensive powering solutions, will introduce a new DC powering system for wireless applications at the annual CTIA Show in Orlando, Florida The city of Orlando is a major city in central Florida and is the county seat of Orange County, Florida. According to the 2000 census, the city population was 185,951. A 2006 U.S.  on March 18-20, 2002.

The new Intergy(TM) ICPS See IXS.  720 Cellular Powering System is designed to provide a fully integrated, cabinetized power source for inside plant applications such as cellular trunks sites, switching centers and outdoor base stations. The new ICPS occupies less floor space allowing for higher power Higher power is a term used in a 12-step program, such as Alcoholics Anonymous, to describe "a power greater than yourself." Although many participants equate their higher power with God, a belief in God or in formal religion is not mandatory; the higher power is intended as a  access; a significant benefit to the wireless network integrator when doing network planning. Significant features and benefits to the network operator include:
-- On-line Battery Replacement which extends system availability

-- Complete Hot Plug-n-Play ensures operator safety

-- Convenient Front Access Design enhances operability and safety

-- Bullet Type Load Breakers allow easy replacement without need for tools

The system measures 48" x 24" for 1800 Ah and 72" x 24" for 3,000 Ah installations. The ICPS allows for expansion to support 3G applications and microwave transmission Microwave transmission refers to the technique of transmitting information over a Microwave link. Since microwaves are highly susceptible to attenuation by the atmosphere (especially during wet weather), the use of microwave transmission is limited to a few contexts.  regenerator/repeaters. System components include the Intergy R2924 Rectifiers which are "hot swappable See hot swap. " for easy on-line maintenance, the SM50 Supervisory Module for system(s) control and intelligence gathering and plug-in DC breakers for distribution. A twin battery cabinet adjacent to the power plant houses the battery backup See UPS.  including LVD See LVDS.
