 today announced that UltraEx, a Rocklin-based delivery business that serves over 16,000 California customers, has adopted AT&T PocketNet service as its dispatch platform.

AT&T PocketNet service, integrated with UltraEx's customized dispatching software, has enabled the delivery service to increase the number of orders it can handle while also increasing the accuracy of each order and providing real-time access for customers to see the status of the deliveries. Cellular One is the provider of the AT&T PocketNet service in the San Francisco Bay Area.

UltraEx has equipped 135 of its drivers with PocketNet phones, resulting in improved delivery efficiency. "PocketNet service allows us to increase the number of deliveries we can process while also enhancing our accuracy. It has worked so well for our drivers that we are now looking to expand the service to our bicycle and pedestrian delivery personnel," said Paula Schmidt, director of information technology for UltraEx.
