In addition to the free portion of Personal News, customers can sign up for additional services for a fee. They can receive three extra information services See Information Systems.  for $2.49 a month, or eight additional services for $5.99 a month. Customers can select from over 30 additional services, including midday and closing stock quotes, headline national news, political news, entertainment news, horoscopes and sports scores.

Customers can sign up for Personal News through Cellular One's website at www.cellone-sf.poweredbyi3.com. Cellular One partnered with Geoworks Corporation (Alameda, Calif.) and i3 Mobile, Inc. (Stamford, Conn.) to develop Personal News.
