Cellular One Improves Coverage Along Highway 68.

Customers Now Have a Stronger Signal

MAYSVILLE, Ky. -- Cellular One customers are enjoying a stronger wireless signal along Highway 68 thanks to three new cell sites the company recently turned on as part of its "Fast Track 2007" program.

Under the strategic plan developed and implemented by Cellular One's Network Quality Assurance Team, by end of the second quarter the company will turn on 75% of its new cell sites that it will build this year.

Locally, the three new sites recently turned on are located at Blue Lick lick

"Fast Track gives us the ability to hit the ground running in 2007," said Timothy J. Duffy, Chief Technical Officer and Senior Vice President. "We will add as many new cell sites in six months as we would have added in nine months."

Cellular One, which operates state-of-the-art GSM/GPRS/EDGE voice and data networks in 17 states, plans to build approximately 300 new cell nationwide sites this year, he said.

"Expanding our network is essential to our continued high level of customer satisfaction," Duffy said. "We have been very aggressive in the past but this plan signals our commitment to delivering the highest quality wireless service to our customers as quick as possible".
