Celliance Introduces Onco-CYTE(TM) Cell Culture Product; Second Addition to EX-CYTE(R) Family of Products.

ATLANTA -- Serologicals Corporation (NASDAQ: SERO) announced today that Celliance, its wholly-owned subsidiary, has introduced Onco-CYTE(TM). Onco-CYTE(TM) is a serum-free, ready-to-use formulation that replaces Fetal Bovine Serum (FBS) in suspension culture for a variety of cancer cell lines in research and bioprocessing applications.

Onco-CYTE(TM) is the second product to be added to the EX-CYTE(R) family of products. EX-CYTE(R) is the largest selling serum-free cell culture supplement. Hybri-CYTE(TM), launched in February 2005, was the first in a new line of serum-free cell culture supplements in the EX-CYTE(R) product line.

Onco-CYTE(TM) is an easy-to-use product that will completely replace FBS and is optimized for specific cell lines. It matches the performance of FBS for cancer cells grown in suspension and eliminates some of the challenges associated with FBS, such as lot-to-lot variability, validating, sourcing and multiple-lot storing.
