Cellerant Therapeutics Appoints Timothy C. Fong, Ph.D., Vice President of Research; Linda F. Rogers Named Senior Director of Global Clinical Operations.

Cellerant Therapeutics Inc. announced that it has made two key appointments to its research team that is focused on developing therapies based on hematopoietic stem cells (HSCs). Timothy C. Fong, Ph.D., has been named Vice President of Research. Dr. Fong was most recently the Vice President, Discovery Research at SangStat Medical Corporation. Additionally, Linda F. Rogers, R.N., was named Senior Director of Global Clinical Operations. Ms. Rogers was most recently Director, Clinical Operations of SangStat Medical Corporation.

Dr. Timothy Fong comes to Cellerant from SangStat Medical Corporation where he was most recently Vice President, Discovery Research. Prior to SangStat, Dr. Fong held positions of increasing responsibility at Aventis Gencell, culminating with Head, Anti-Angiogenesis Program, Oncology. [1] For graduate studies, most of UCSD's Ph.D. . Dr. Fong is the author or co-author of numerous scientific articles and abstracts and he is the holder of multiple issued and pending patents.

Ms. Linda Rogers comes to Cellerant from SangStat Medical Corporation where she most recently held the position of Director, Clinical Operations. Prior to SangStat, Ms. Rogers was Director of Clinical Operations at Pharmacyclics. Ms. Rogers has also held positions at Berlex Laboratories, Genentech, Inc., Searle Pharmaceuticals and Abbott Laboratories. Ms. Rogers received her R.N. from South Chicago Community Hospital School of Nursing The Community Hospital School of Nursing is a nursing school in Springfield, Ohio. It is a diploma-granting school but is affiliated with Urbana University. It was founded in 1904. , her Bachelor of Science from Barat College and her Master of Management from John Fitzgerald Kennedy University School of Management.
