Cell established at Labour Ministry to facilitate workers.


ISLAMABAD, 06 April , 2009 (Balochistan Times) -- Ministry of Labour and Manpower has se up a complaint cell to provide a range of facilities to the workers. Set up under at Ministry on the directives of Minister for Labour and Manpower, Syed Khursheed Ahmed Shah Ahmed Shah: see Ahmad Shah. , the cell will receive complaints about non registration of workers and non-payment of minimum wages by employers. It will also entertain requests regarding old age pension, old age grant, survivors pension and invalidity in·va·lid 1

Issues like grant of Scholarship to workers children, Death Grant, marriage Grant etc, by workers welfare fund, and other benefits extended by provincial social security Institution, to the industrial/commercial establishments employing five or more workers would also be settled in the cell. The complaints on the above issues can be sent to Shahzado Langah, Deputy Social Security Adviser, Ministry of Labour and Manpower in writing, along with documentary proof and copy of computerized computerized
