) today announced its financial results for the year ending December December: see month.  31, 1997.

The Company's 1997 revenues increased 57% to $1,037,723, compared to $663,261 in 1996. For the 1997 year end, the company reported a net loss for the year of $2,472,892 or ($.48) per share. This compared with a net loss of $1,544,090 or ($.37) per share 1996.

During 1997, Cell Robotics incurred large Research & Development costs as it transitioned the product line from being primarily laser research devices to a strong emphasis upon newly developed medical laser devices. The Research & Development costs are expected to decrease considerably in 1998.

The laser research device sales increased by 48%. This year the company has begun to sell the Lasette Lasette® Lab medicine A laser finger perforator for capillary sampling of glucose and other chemistries, which provides less-painful monitoring for Pt and eliminates accidental needle sticks.
