Celestry Appoints Randy Smith Vice President, Marketing; Moves Offices to Larger Facility in San Jose.

Celestry Design Technologies, Inc., the leading provider of Silicon Accurate Sign-off(TM) technology for the semiconductor and electronics industry, today announced the appointment of Randy Smith as vice president, Marketing. Smith was most recently vice president of Marketing and Business Development at TriMedia (Milpitas, Calif.). In addition, Celestry announced it has moved to a larger facility in San Jose.

Prior to Celestry and TriMedia, Smith was a vice president at Artisan Components. He has also held various executive and senior management sales and marketing positions with Cadence Design Systems (NYSE:CDN), Silicon Architects, Silicon Valley Research (OTCBB:SVRI) and Gambit Automated Design (later acquired by Synopsys). He was a co-founder of Tangent Systems (later acquired by Cadence Design). He has a B.S. Electrical Engineering degree from Cornell University and a M.B.A. from Santa Clara University.

Dale A. Pollek, previously vice president, Sales and Marketing for North America and Europe remains with the company as vice president of Sales for North America and Europe. Both Smith and Pollek report to Zhihong Liu, president and CEO of Celestry.
