Celerity Solutions Licenses Warehouse Management Software to Pleasant Company.

CONCORD, Mass.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--March 11, 1998--Celerity Solutions Inc. (NASDAQ: CLTY), a leading single-source solution for supply chain and warehouse management software, today announced that its Somerset Solutions, Inc. subsidiary, will license its WMS 4.0 warehouse management software to Pleasant Company. Pleasant Company, a $300 million publisher and direct-mail catalog company, will install WMS 4.0 at its 400,000-square-foot manufacturing and distribution facilities in Middleton and Wilmot, Wisconsin.

Somerset will integrate its WMS 4.0 with Pleasant Company's recently acquired Oracle Applications including Oracle's financial, manufacturing, and order-entry modules. As part of this integration process, Somerset will complete the Oracle Cooperative Applications Integration (CAI) certification process, confirming the seamless real-time interface and total synchronization between the systems.

The integration of WMS 4.0 with the Oracle applications will produce an enterprise-wide system backbone from which Pleasant Company will be able to plan and manage its manufacturing and distribution operations. WMS 4.0 will track both raw materials and finished goods, feeding real-time inventory data to the Oracle applications to maximize planning capabilities and reduce order fulfillment time. These increased system capabilities will help improve customer service and support Pleasant Company's significant peak order volumes.
