Celerant Consulting Announces Appointment of Thomas G. Mackiewicz as Senior Vice President, Finance.

LEXINGTON, Mass. -- Celerant Consulting, the global management consultancy specializing in operational improvement, today announced the appointment of Thomas G. Mackiewicz as Senior Vice President, Finance. Tom leads the Finance function in the Americas and is responsible for all internal accounting, financial planning, treasury, and tax functions.

Mr. Mackiewicz has more than 25 years of experience working in Controller, Treasurer and Tax roles in large organizations. Most recently, Tom was the Vice President, Corporate Controller and Treasurer with Ascential Software Corporation (now part of IBM). Prior to that, Tom joined Cambridge Technology Partners as Vice President, Corporate Controller and Chief Accounting Officer. Before CTP, he worked at Data General Corporation (now part of EMC Corporation) where he was Director of Corporate Taxes.

He started his career with Bank of Boston as an Accountant, including a three year tour in Argentina. At Price Waterhouse (now PricewaterhouseCoopers), Tom was a Tax Manager in the newly-formed International Tax Special Practice Unit in the Boston Office.

Tom holds a BSBA in Accounting from Northeastern University and a Master of Science in Taxation from Bentley College. In addition, Mr. Mackiewicz is a Certified Public Accountant.
