(2) For a modern twist, only crimp random sections so you don't end up like Kate Bush circa 1970. (3) Crimp some sections just at the root and others at the ends. (4) It can be great for adding volume to flat tresses, so give it a go for some oomph on a big night out. (5) Crimped hair looks great tied up so pull it all back for a high, messy ponytail. (6) Crimping works on lots of different hair lengths from a bob to long, flowing locks. But it doesn't work quite so well on shorter cuts - or past your 40th birthday!
