Celebrity Judges Set to Read Entries for New "American Idol" Contest for Young Writers.

Children are invited to submit their stories in one of two categories: 4 to 8 years old and 9 to 13 years old. Grand Prize winners will have their stories produced as videos with Mrs. P reading them aloud from her Magic Library. Original illustrations by professional artists will help bring the stories to life. The videos will be posted for a limited time on www.MrsP.com for viewers all over the world to watch. In addition, each winner will receive an actual bound copy of the story and illustrations.

"In the same way that American Idol discovers talented singers, we hope to find some great, new writers," said MrsP.com co-creator Kathy Kinney, star of "The Drew Carey Show" and currently seen on "The Secret Life of An American Teenager."
