Celebrating its 10th year, the event runs from Nov. 22 through Dec. 20 and includes more than 60 participating sites across the metro Detroit The Detroit metropolitan area, often referred to as Metro Detroit, is the metropolitan area located in southeastern Michigan, centered on the city of Detroit. As the home of the "Big Three" American automakers (General Motors, Ford, and Chrysler), it is the world's  area. Holiday giving trees are located at the sites and are decorated dec·o·rate

Participants can also make a monetary sponsorship contribution to help provide a memorable holiday season for a special child.

"Year after year, we continue to be impressed by the generosity of metro Detroiters and area businesses, who have allowed us to host this event at their establishments," said Deborah A. Liedel, director of public relations public relations, activities and policies used to create public interest in a person, idea, product, institution, or business establishment. By its nature, public relations is devoted to serving particular interests by presenting them to the public in the most  and community services for the Children's Home of Detroit. "It is through their support that we can continue to fulfill the holiday wishes of these special children."
