In the largest of the three lease transactions, University Diagnostic Medical Imaging, P.C. (UDMI) has leased 20,000 s/f for a state-of-the-art diagnostic imaging center. UDMI, which is relocating from its currently owned 13,000 s/f office at 1733 Eastchester Road in the Bronx, plans to occupy its new Class A facility this fall. In the other recent leases, Tremont Community Council, an organization that provides home nursing care services, has leased 2,500 s/f; and Children's Corner Children's Corner is a suite for solo piano by Claude Debussy, completed in 1908 (L 113).

"We are very pleased to welcome these three new tenants to the Hutchinson Metro Center. Stacom, Shawna Menifee and Matthew O'Connor at Cushman & Wakefield are the exclusive leasing agents for the Hutchinson Metro Center.

The Hutchinson Metro Center has become a catalyst for economic growth in the borough. The $60 million first phase of 460,000 s/f of space is expected to bring between 2,500 and 3,000 new jobs to the Bronx. The 18.5-acre site has the potential for expansion up to 1 million square feet.
