Celebrate Grandparent's Day -- Create A Special Gift At Forest Lawn(R).


Family activities underscore the magnitude of the Forest Lawn Museum's
      ground-breaking exhibit, "Revolutions," featuring works by
   artists who defined musical culture visually as well as a special
      showing of "Taken By Storm: Album Art of Storm Thorgerson"


What:        Grandparent's Day Fun

When:        Saturday, September 10th
             1:30 p.m. - 4:00 p.m.

Where:       Forest Lawn-Glendale
             1712 S. Glendale Blvd.

Details:     We know how important Grandparents are to a family and
             want to show them our appreciation. Join us to create a
             pin for Grandma or Grandpa to wear proudly for
             Grandparent's Day. Choose from a heart, dove or lamb
             design to decorate. (Ages 5 and up.)

             "Revolutions" is a ground-breaking, free exhibit that
             features the artists behind the images synonymous with
             identifying the pop culture of the 60's and into the new
             Millennium. Featuring never-before-seen art and original
             creations, from photographs to posters, original artwork
             used for albums and CDs, magazine art and drawings, the
             exhibit showcases artists who created visually beautiful
             and thought-provoking work cherished by the world's
             musical icons. The exhibit is free and open to the public
             through October 9th.
