Ski lifts and trails are on Squaw Peak (8,960 ft/2,731 m high).  USA also offers an alpine fireworks display on the Fourth that can best be viewed from their expansive High Camp facility at the 8,200 foot elevation. On July 5, the West Shore Cafe in Homewood produces a fireworks show above Lake Tahoe's waters. Along with the evening activities, visitors will find a hometown parade in Truckee during the day on the Fourth of July.

Since the Fourth of July holiday is one of the busiest for Lake Tahoe, visitors planning a trip to the region are encouraged to book their trip well in advance.
