:CLXX), www.celexx.com, announced today that it has completed the acquisition of Computer Marketplace, Inc., (CMI (Computer-Managed Instruction) Using computers to organize and manage an instructional program for students. It helps create test materials, tracks the results and monitors student progress. ), based in Tewksbury, Massachusetts. CMI was founded in 1983 and provides high-end network solutions, systems engineering, and computer telephony solutions to Fortune 500 companies and other clients in the United States and abroad. Earlier this year, CMI established a presence in Canada, to expand its markets and better service the systems solutions, integration and telephony requirements of a growing number of International clients, including Bell Canada (Nasdaq:BCICF). Presently, plans are underway to establish a presence in all CeleXx locations in the US and abroad. This seamless integration supports the CeleXx mission to provide end-to-end "Corporate Support Solutions."

CMI revenues and operating profits grew 60% from approximately $10 million in fiscal 1997 to $16 million (unaudited) in fiscal 1999, with EBITDA (Earnings Before Interest, Taxes, Depreciation and Amortization) A metric used to show a company's profitability, but not its cash flow. EBITDA became popular in the 1980s to show the potential profitability of leveraged buyouts, but has become  of approximately $1 million.

The international business of CMI includes exporting high-end, brand name servers with vertical market software and providing integration to Cystelcom, S.L., in Madrid, Spain. CMI has partnered with Cystelcom to provide premier call routing / CTI (Computer Telephone Integration) Combining data with voice systems in order to enhance telephone services.
