Celarix Expands Sales Force and Names Logistics and Technology Veteran as Vice President of Strategic Alliances.

CAMBRIDGE, Mass.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Feb. 5, 2001

Celarix, Inc. (www.celarix.com), dedicated to bringing customers Web-centric collaborative technology to improve the global supply chain, today announced that Richard Spencer People named Richard Spencer:
  • Richard Spencer RN (1779–1839) of the Royal Navy, Lyme Regis and Australia
  • Richard Spencer (Maryland) (1796–1868), American politician and member of the United States House of Representatives
, an experienced marketing and business development executive in supply chain and logistics technology, has been named the company's vice president of strategic alliances.

Celarix also has recently doubled the size of its New Jersey office to support the company's continued growth and added Court Rejman as vice president of sales for the Western region of North America North America, third largest continent (1990 est. pop. 365,000,000), c.9,400,000 sq mi (24,346,000 sq km), the northern of the two continents of the Western Hemisphere. .

Spencer's responsibilities will focus on actively developing new and existing vertical target markets and expanding Celarix' market share within those industries. Spencer has more than 15 years of experience in developing new customer relationships, strategic alliances and marketing programs in the supply chain software industry. He most recently served as vice president of sales for Baker Street Technologies, after spending five years as vice president of sales and strategic alliances at Descartes Systems Group.
