The second largest Texas city, after Houston, and the eighth largest U.S. , TX, has announced that construction has begun on a new emulsion emulsion: see colloid. emulsion Mixture of two or more liquids in which one is dispersed in the other as microscopic or ultramicroscopic droplets (see colloid). Emulsions are stabilized by agents (emulsifiers) that (e.g. polymers facility at the Nanjing Nanjing (nän`jĭng`) or Nanking (năn`kĭng`) [southern capital], city (1994 est. pop. 2,224,200), capital of Jiangsu prov., E central China, in a bend of the Chang (Yangtze) River.
