Celanese Selects Dragon Crown to Provide Distribution Services for Nanjing Plant.

:CZ) (FWB (Fixed Wireless Broadband) See fixed wireless. :CZZ) today announced that it has selected Dragon Crown, the largest methanol and acetic acid distributor in China, to provide storage and distribution services for its newly announced acetic acid plant in Nanjing. Dragon Crown will begin construction of a new Nanjing terminal by the end of this year.

Dragon Crown has been distributing Celanese-produced acetic acid to customers in China for the past 10 years. The company currently operates terminals in Ningbo, Tianjin, Dongguan, and Xinjiang.

On March 4, Celanese announced the construction of a 600,000 metric ton acetic acid plant at the Nanjing Chemical Industry Park in eastern China. The company expects the plant to be operational by early 2006.

Celanese Chemicals is a core business of Celanese AG, a global company with leading positions in its key products and world class process technology.
