Dragon Crown will begin construction of a new Nanjing terminal by the end of this year. Dragon Crown has been distributing Celanese-produced acetic acid to customers in China for the past 10 years. The company currently operates terminals in Ningbo, Tianjin, Dongguan, and Xinjiang. On March 4, Celanese announced the construction of a 600,000 metric ton acetic acid plant at the Nanjing Chemical Industry Park in eastern China. The company expects the plant to be operational by early 2006.
