The new innovative solution combines GadgetSpace, HAHT Commerce, SAP R/3, and the Internet with mobile phones and personal data assistant (PDA (Personal Digital Assistant) A handheld computer for managing contacts, appointments and tasks. The new solution will greatly improve the efficiency of Celanese Chemicals' sales force providing them with immediate access to data which previously may have taken up to four hours to retrieve. With the ability to access real-time information on customer order status, history, and tracking via wireless technology, the sales team expects to significantly improve customer service.

"The Clarkston team quickly picked up on the needs of our sales force," commented William Schmitt, director of business enablement for Celanese Chemicals. "Their expertise will provide our company with a new and creative solution to better serve our customers. With this solution, we are putting information in the hands of the people who need it most."

"We worked with the Celanese Chemicals team to develop a business to business wireless solution that met their strategic objectives. The company's sales force will have unprecedented access to dynamic information that few companies have," said Pat Kearney, Partner with Clarkston. "Although this engagement used some of the latest wireless technology, it was about creating a business opportunity for Celanese Chemical to enhance their customer relationships and experience."
