Ceiva Logic Inc., the creator of the Ceiva Internet-connected digital picture frame An Internet appliance that displays a picture on an LCD screen and uses an always-on cable modem or DSL connection. It lets you upload images over the Internet directly into the digital frames of family members and friends. , and Corbis(R), the leading Internet-based provider of digital images, today announced a strategic partnership in which Corbis will provide Ceiva members with a vast collection of digital art.

As an enhancement to displaying digital pictures of family and friends, Corbis images will provide Ceiva's customers with an array of compelling images to show -- such as breathtaking breath·tak·ing

When customers purchase a Ceiva or sign up online to become a member, they immediately gain access to the Ceiva Network, which provides an intuitive uploading process that sends images from the Ceiva Network to selected Ceiva frames -- regardless if the member owns a Ceiva. Additionally, the Ceiva Network provides categories such as "galleries" and "channels" that offer supplementary images which can be programmed by the member to appear on the Ceiva frame at a time and date of their choosing.

Ceiva retails for $249 for the frame, with an introductory annual service fee of $49.95 for the first year.
