Cefni win island 7s.LLANGEFNI were crowned champions of the Llangoed International Rugby Sevens tournament for the sixth time in the competition's 17-year history on Saturday. The Anglesey club, whose wins have all come in the current decade, defeated South Wales South Wales south n → sud m du Pays de Galles side Gwyr 29-12 in a thrilling final. Twenty teams, split initially into four groups of five playing in the morning and afternoon at the Anglesey village ground, contested the men's tournament. In the afternoon, the big guns came into play with Llangefni storming away with their group, claiming four straight wins, scoring 105 points and conceding con·cede v. con·ced·ed, con·ced·ing, con·cedes v.tr. 1.
