Cedip says Jade is ready.
Cedip Infrared Systems' Jade UC camera (optimised for machine
vision applications) is now available with a USB 2.0 digital output
capability, allowing users to display digital images at a rate of 60 Hz
over the full 14-bit dynamic range. USB 2.0 is a plug-and-play format
that is available on all new personal computers. The Jade infrared
camera uses a 320 x 240-pixel sensitive microbolometer focal plane array
sensor offering thermal sensitivity of less than 80 mk and a thermal
response time of less than four milliseconds. The Jade UC operates at up
to 100 frames per second and provides a resolution to detect even the
smallest area of defect or non-uniformity.
