Cedar Point Reaches Agreement with Cable Pacifico for Deployment of SAFARI Voice Switch in Colombia.

Cedar Point Cedar Point is a 364 acre (1.5 km²) amusement park located in Sandusky, Ohio, U.S. on a narrow peninsula jutting into Lake Erie. Under the agreement, Cable Pacifico will deploy the integrated SAFARI C(Cubed) system into voice-over-IP (VoIP) launches in its Medellin and Cali markets. Overall, Cable Pacifico serves 38 cities in the West of Colombia. The initial deployment will be in the city of Medellin.

The agreement is the third announced in the past 10 days by Cedar Point. Previously the company announced that SAFARI C(Cubed) had been selected for use by Charter Communications Charter Communications NASDAQ: CHTR is an American company providing cable television, high-speed Internet, and telephone services to more than 5.7 million customers in 29 states. Juan Angel, president of Cable Pacifico, said that as the first company in the West of Colombia to deploy a PacketCable(TM) service, Cable Pacifico will begin a new era due to the new services that it will offer to customers.
