Mr. Halftown also disclosed that the Cayuga Nation would submit a comprehensive trust land application to the Bureau of Indian Affairs The Bureau of Indian Affairs (BIA) is an agency of the federal government of the United States within the Department of the Interior charged with the administration and management of 55.7 million acres (87,000 sq. later this week. The agreements provide for the development, construction, financing, operation and management of the proposed casino. In addition to gaming operations, the agreements provide for a joint venture to construct and operate hotels, retail and other support facilities in Sullivan County that will compliment casino operations.
