PETALUMA, Calif. -- Caymas Systems, the leading provider of Identity-Driven Access Gateways, today announced that it has been certified as Cisco Compatible for the Network Admission Control (NAC) program, a Cisco-led industry initiative that is designed to use the network infrastructure to enforce endpoint security policy compliance on devices looking for access to networks and prevent malicious attacks. NAC also supports the Self Defending Network, Cisco's strategy for integrated security systems that help identify, prevent, and adapt to threats.

Caymas Systems has licensed the Cisco Trust Agent for integration into the Caymas 220, Caymas 318, and Caymas 525 Identity-Driven Access Gateways, allowing IT departments to deny network access to end users who are out of compliance with corporate security policy. Using the Cisco Trust Agent, Caymas gateways offer a universal access solution, providing access for both internal and external users, and protecting networks from the endpoint to the application. This functionality will be available to Caymas Systems customers who have NAC-enabled Cisco networking hardware in their environment.
