Cayman Water Comment On Hurricane Mitch.


GEORGE TOWN, Cayman Islands George Town, Grand Cayman, is the capital of the Cayman Islands, in the British West Indies. The town has a population of 20,626 (1999 estimates).

George Town is the heart of the Cayman Islands financial industry, with over 600 banks located there.
, B.W.I.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Oct. 27, 1998--Cayman Water (Nasdaq:CWCOF) made the following announcement today with regards to the passage of Hurricane Mitch Hurricane Mitch was one of the deadliest and most powerful hurricanes on record in the Atlantic basin, with maximum sustained winds of 180 mph (290 km/h). The storm was the thirteenth tropical storm, ninth hurricane, and third major hurricane of the 1998 Atlantic .
