Cayman Systems announced it is participating in several activities as part of the Wireless Home Networking Seminar being held today in Dallas. This one-day public forum is sponsored by the HomeRF Working Group, an industry organization that promotes interoperable, wireless communications.

During the seminar program, Cayman's Bill Murphy, director of product marketing, will discuss broadband wireless gateways as the next logical step in home and small office connectivity.

The HomeRF Working Group was established to develop open industry specifications for wireless digital communication between devices as an alternative to costly wired technologies in the home. Cayman Systems recently joined the HomeRF Working Group as part of its efforts in bringing the advantages of broadband to the home-networking and small office arena.
