High Demand for Cayman's Family of Broadband Gateway

Products Drives Company's Nationwide Sales Expansion

Cayman Systems, Inc., a global provider of broadband gateway solutions that deliver intelligent, secure, and multi-user access to broadband services, today announced the opening of four new regional sales offices and the appointment of Bruce Reading as Vice President of Worldwide Sales. To oversee its rapidly growing sales team, Cayman has hired communications veteran Bruce Reading as Vice President of Worldwide Sales. Mr. Reading joins Cayman from Dictaphone Corporation where he spent seven and a half years in senior management positions. Most recently, Mr. Reading served as Vice President of the Americas for the Communication Recording Systems Group for Dictaphone. He was responsible for all pre-sale and sales activities including sales development, sales support, customer and sales training, and pre-sales engineering. While serving at the company, Mr. Reading was credited for annual revenues in excess of $115 million dollars and the effective management of over 220 employees. Mr. Reading also served as Vice President and General Manager of Dictaphone Canada where he managed all aspects of Canadian operations including Finance, Administration, Customer Service, and Sales.

Among his prior appointments, Mr. Reading held the position of Vice President at NorthWestern Game Corporation, a startup in the gaming industry. While at NorthWestern, he was instrumental in the design and development of new products and played a key role in facilitating NorthWestern's successful acquisition by a significant competitor.
