, the leading supplier of environment-friendly power solutions, has strengthened its resolve to meet the exacting demands of its customers in the Ports, Maritime and Airport sectors, by acquiring the US-based Dabico Group, the global leader in the manufacture of airport ground support equipment.

The Cavotec MSL See multiple single-level.  Holdings Ltd., the parent company of Cavotec Middle East FZE and the leaders in the design and installation of environment-friendly power solutions, inked the synergy deal recently and the acquisition has been in effect since 23 April, 2008.

These synergies will significantly enhance our combined presence in the worldwide market and provide new opportunities for all of our airports activities," added Mr Widegren.

Jurgen Strommer, Managing Director, Cavotec Middle East, is euphoric about the new turn of events. "This synergy will make us serve the ever growing demands of the international airports in the region, and the Dubai Airport in particular. Now our combined solutions will be an irresistible offer for anyone who sets store by exacting standards of safety and quality."

Cavotec had recently reaffirmed its intent to serve the region better by opening an AED AED - Automated Engineering Design 10 million Regional headquarters in Dubai, which includes a massive warehouse and a total area of over 7,200 sqm, and launching a technical training academy for WIBE solutions, again, in Dubai.
