), a leading infrastructure development company in Vietnam, today announced that on March 6, 2009 the Company was awarded a $4.9 million construction contract by Lilama, a state-owned company under the management of the Vietnamese Ministry of Construction.

Cavico will be responsible for the construction of a diversion tunnel and coffer dam (Engin.) See Cofferdam, in the Vocabulary.

This twin turbine plant will require an investment of approximately $250 million and will help ease the electricity shortage issues currently faced and thereby contributing to the growth of Central Vietnam provinces.
