Cause of division.


Dear editor,

Regarding your article, Nine bishops 'express sorrow' at synod's actions (anglicanjournal .com Web site, June June: see month.  3), I find it interesting that Archbishop Andrew Hutchison Andrew Sandford Hutchison L.Th., D.D, D.C.L. (h.c.) (born in Toronto in 1938), is a retired Primate of the Anglican Church of Canada. Prior to his election at the General Synod of 2004, he was the bishop of Montreal and metropolitan of the ecclesiastical province of Canada (which,  is disappointed that the bishops' statement "speaks of division." In fact, it was the same sex motions, both the one deferred and the one passed, that are the cause of division. It is the move toward same-sex same-sex
adj.
1. Involving or restricted to members of the same sex: same-sex schools.

2. Of or involving gay men or lesbians: same-sex couples; same-sex marriage. 
 blessings that has succeeded, in splitting our church. Don't try to blame it on those hold to historical and foundational doctrine and teachings.
