The Nasdaq listing marks the completion of Catuity's efforts to become a publicly held U.S. corporation. The company began in Australia in 1992 and last year moved its corporate headquarters to Detroit. The company has 7.2 million shares of common stock outstanding and will continue trading on the Australian Stock Exchange Australian Stock Exchange (ASX)

Australia's major securities market, formed when the six state stock exchanges (Adelaide, Brisbane, Hobart, Melbourne, Perth, and Sydney stock exchanges) were merged in 1987.

Catuity played a lead role in the development of the smartVisa Loyalty platform and will continue to provide software and hardware consultation for implementation and support of Visa members.
